From Dreams to Victories
I was born and raised in Moldova. As a child, I was passionate about sports. I tried swimming, bicycle racing, and shooting. However, my family lacked the financial means, and I did not become a professional athlete.
Therefore, I want to do everything in my power to ensure that today's young talents have the opportunities I lacked. I want them to stay in sports, reach great heights, and proudly represent our country.
In 2021, I took charge of the Moldovan Biathlon Federation, and now our not-so-snowy country is known in the biathlon world.
In collaboration with the IBU, we are implementing the NextGen project. Today, schoolchildren across the country will learn to shoot with laser rifles and take up roller skiing. This is just the first step. I am committed to reviving winter sports in Moldova (snow and slope).
We will nurture a new generation of athletes. We'll create Moldova's Winter Olympic reserve. We'll give the youth a chance to restore their country's taste for sporting victories!
